Pashmina
Inspired by the traditions of high-altitude nomadic communities, the Panchachuli collection of luxurious Pashminas draws its essence from the breathtaking landscapes of Munsiyari in Uttarakhand. Nestled in the Kumaon Himalayas, Munsiyari is the last town before the frontier and lies in the shadow of the majestic Panchachuli range that towers above it to the north. The word Pashmina comes from the Persian word pashm, meaning "wool," and refers to the soft undercoat of the Changthang goat. These goats thrive at high altitudes in the Himalayas, where harsh winters lead to the growth of this exceptionally fine fibre, evolved to provide natural insulation. Over time, we have preserved the authenticity and understated luxury of these rare Pashmina fibres, while also crafting beautiful, sustainable products that reflect the extraordinary skill of our artisans.

We use the finest Merino wool—sourced from Merino sheep originally brought from Australia and now raised in the Himalayan region—which is hand-woven into soft, high-quality fashion accessories and fabrics by skilled local artisans.
